Where We Find Ourselves
Notes on becoming more ourselves
“I’m finding myself.”
We’ve all said it and we’ve heard someone else speak it to us.
Where are we finding ourselves?
We find ourselves in our morning coffee and the exact way that we enjoy it.
We find ourselves in deep passionate kisses, noticing how it feels to connect this new self with another person.
We find ourselves in how we approach conflict and the compassionate boundaries we set.
We find ourselves in the music that fills our space, like a personal daily soundtrack to each mini movie of a day.
Life is as cinematic as we allow it to be.
We find ourselves in conversation with others.
How does it feel to connect, to be in community and to learn who we are mirrored back to us through the world?
We find ourselves in moments of creation, where we take the risk and share our Soul with another.
Maybe finding ourselves isn’t a destination at all.
Maybe it’s simply the quiet noticing of who we are becoming while we live.
If you’re in a season of finding yourself, I’ve opened two days for private readings. Learn about my 1:1 offerings and book here.
Thanks for being here.
